Hot Flash Severity Definitions

Mild: Sensation of heat without sweating/dampness.

Moderate: Sensation of heat with sweating/dampness, but able to continue your current activity. You may briefly fan yourself or feel like you need a cool/damp cloth to cool yourself. You can continue the activity you are currently engaged in.

Severe: Sensation of intense heat with sweating causing disruption of current activity.
